All beauty in the world is subject to a mathematical law, the ratio of Phi. This states that things that we perceive as harmonious and beautiful are subject to the law of ratios of 1:1.67. In the painting of Mona Lisa, we find these ratios throughout the picture; the faces of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie or George Clooney also show such ratios.
A face with a V or even an oval is perceived as much more attractive than a broad, square appearance. For this reason, many women desire a V-shaped face. With fillers (hyaluronic acid, collagen boosters such as Sculptra or autologous fat), such a wish can easily be fulfilled: It is usually enough to subtly plump up the zygomatic arches and chin; this quickly turns a rather square-looking face into a "V". In certain cases, a chewing muscle that is too prominent must be reduced in size using botulinum toxin (chewing muscle reduction) or fat must be removed from a face that is too round (facial narrowing).
