A tightening can be attempted without surgery using sutures or heat (HIFU/Ulthera), but a lift is often the treatment of choice for a perfect result.

The thread lift on the neck is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia. During a short twilight sleep, barbed threads are inserted under the skin and then pulled taut. Men's skin has a lot of connective tissue, which is why the thread lift on men usually leads to very good results. The results are immediately visible and usually last for 1-2 years. The tautness of men's skin means that side effects such as bruising are virtually non-existent. The treatment takes about 30 minutes.

Neck lift for men without surgery

As a minimally invasive alternative, heat can be used to tighten the skin. Whenever heat is applied to the neck, it is important to avoid destroying the roots of the beard hair, as this can lead to holes in the beard growth, which many men do not like at all. For this reason, tightening heat procedures such as laser, Renuvion or radio frequency should be avoided.

Focused ultrasound, such as Ulthera (HIFU) works differently: Ultrasound beams meet at the heat point 2-4mm under the skin – i.e., far away from any hair root –and heat the connective tissue fibers there, causing them to shrink. The result: The skin tightens. However, the outcomes can vary – sometimes very good, other times only moderate – which is why we only offer this procedure if you do not want a thread lift or surgery. The treatment is slightly uncomfortable but not really painful, and you can return to work immediately afterwards. As a rule, a single treatment is sufficient.
