Morpheus 8

This treatment involves inserting very fine needles into the skin. Targeted radio frequency heat is generated at the tips of these needles, which stimulates the skin to tighten – similar to a roast that shrinks in the oven. As the heat acts directly in the skin and not on the skin surface as with a fractionated laser, the outer skin remains protected and pigmentation disorders are avoided.

In contrast to conventional systems with microneedling and radio frequency, Morpheus8 uses the innovative burst concept: The heat is emitted at three different depths within a single pulse. This allows the treatment to reach the connective tissue in a targeted way, where the tightening can develop its full effect. In addition to mechanical shrinkage, Morpheus8 also intensively stimulates collagen production, which leads to a particularly long-lasting tightening effect. As the treatment is carried out deep within the skin, the skin surface remains virtually untouched – there are no open wounds or severe skin irritation. Apart from a slight reddening, which subsides by the next day, no visible marks are to be expected.

Sculptra Light

Sculptra consists of polylactate, a proven, biodegradable substance that is also used in dissolvable surgical sutures. Scientific observations show that polylactate stimulates the formation of new capillaries and collagen as it breaks down in the body. This intensive new formation of firm, collagen-rich tissue makes it possible to visibly firm and rejuvenate sagging areas of skin. Over time, the polylactate is completely replaced by the patient's own natural collagen.

In our practice, we use a light version of Sculptra specifically to tighten the skin and improve circulation. The results are noticeable, visible and long-lasting. While it does not create significant new volume, Sculptra ensures that no volume loss occurs as a result of the Morpheus8 treatment. Should it nevertheless be necessary to fill in sunken areas of the face, Sculptra can also be used in higher concentrations to build up volume in a targeted manner.

Exosomes

Exosomes have long been known to accelerate the healing of wounds. These are tiny "bubbles" that contain valuable protein molecules and enzymes and are released by cells to other cells. This is how the cells communicate with each other. These messenger substances, also known as peptides, have healing and regenerative properties – the true "fountain of youth". The use of exosomes in aesthetic medicine is a new trend that originated in Korea.

How the treatment works

First, the areas to be treated are marked on the face. This is followed by the Morpheus8 treatment. Immediately afterwards, exosomes are applied to the skin in liquid form and gently massaged into the skin. Finally, the highly diluted Sculptra substance is injected directly under the skin – exactly where the tightening and improved blood circulation are to be achieved.

The entire treatment takes about an hour.

For lasting and visible results, three sessions are usually required, which should be carried out four weeks apart.
