Rhinoplasty without surgery

This is why a tall person should not have a nose that is too small and a small, delicate person should not have one that is too big. With a small chin or a short lower jaw, the nose quickly looks too big. However, this also means that for some patients who are not happy with their nose, we do not correct the nose itself, but perhaps only the lips or chin.

The aesthetics of the nose have now been scientifically studied and its ideal dimensions are in principle mathematically defined. These values are good guidelines. However, the primary aim of a nose correction is always to create a harmonious overall appearance, taking into account the individual proportions of the face.

Many people want a more harmonious nose, but are very afraid of surgery and the subsequent pain.

Nowadays, a nose correction is relatively easy thanks to modern techniques using fillers or specialized sutures. The treatment takes a few minutes and lasts up to a year or longer. The following corrections are possible:

• improving the angle of the tip of the nose (correction of a "hooked nose")
• optimization of the angle between the bridge of the nose and the upper lip to 95°-105
• shortening of the nose
• lengthening of the nose
• narrowing of the bridge of the nose
• narrowing of the nostrils

Slight nasal humps

By injecting gel, the areas above and below the hump are slightly lifted. Although the hump remains, it is optically concealed; the nose looks straight in profile.

Saddle nose

With the saddle nose, the dent in the area of the bridge of the nose is smoothed by applying gel in the plane. If the bridge of the nose is too flat or too curved, it can also be evened out or harmonized by injecting hyaluronic acid.

Wide bridge of the nose

In the case of wide noses, both the tip and the bridge of the nose can be optically narrowed. This results in a finer finish. Dr. Linde generally uses fine PDO threads on the bridge of the nose to make the line appear narrower. In contrast to a filler, the threads remain stable in place (the filler can be pushed to the side). An additional nano-injection into the tip of the nose then refines the nose perfectly.

Drooping tip of the nose – "vulture nose"

The tip of the nose can be lifted with hyaluronic acid, i.e., the angle between the bridge of the nose and the upper lip is corrected to 95°-105°. At the same time, the nose looks shorter from the front.

Lateral indentations of the nose

Some patients have a wavy, crooked bridge of the nose, which can occur naturally or as a result of injury or surgery. These irregularities in the line can be corrected with hyaluronic acid.

Asymmetries or uneven sides of the nose

Slight inequalities or slightly sloping noses can be corrected with hyaluronic acid. The nose then appears straight and symmetrical again.

Flattened tip of the nose

The flat tip of the nose can be narrowed and thus straightened with targeted injections of hyaluronic acid.

Wide nose

The width of the nose can be narrowed by injecting cortisone. Dr. Linde uses a technique that he learned in Iran and Turkey – these are the two countries where most nose operations are performed. Very fine injections into the side of the nose slowly lead to a narrowing of the nostrils and the bridge of the nose over a period of weeks.

Treatment with fillers (hyaluronic acid) is usually sufficient. To visually narrow the bridge of the nose, the insertion of fine threads (PDO threads) is also recommended; cortisone injections are used to narrow the nostrils and the entire nose. The treatment takes approx. 30 minutes, can be performed in ultra-short twilight sleep if desired and you can return to work immediately afterwards
