The skin is treated with a roller equipped with tiny needles with a diameter in the micrometer range. The finest perforations in the skin lead to micro-scars, which strongly stimulates collagen induction. The skin immediately appears fresher, more vital and younger. Depending on the treatment objective, it is possible to apply substances under the skin during the treatment to further optimize its regeneration.
For good, longer-lasting results, a course of approx. 6 treatments is recommended.
Microneedling in combination with fractional radiofrequency is an innovative method for skin rejuvenation and tightening of wrinkles and sagging skin on the face, neck, décolleté and body. The procedure is known under the names Tixel®, Secret RF®, Infinity®, Lutronic® and Cellina®.
RF microneedling can even produce excellent results on stretch marks and acne scars.
Similar to microneedling, this treatment causes tiny micro-injuries in the skin layer, which stimulate the body's own repair mechanism and produce new collagen and elastin. In contrast to pure microneedling, the skin is also heated at the needle tips using radio frequency current. This leads to a contraction of the tissue fibers and thus to a tightening of the skin without any injury or irritation of the skin surface (epidermis), as can happen with other procedures such as fractional CO2 laser. The small channels created by microneedling can then be used to introduce firming and nourishing substances into the skin.
A major advantage of this treatment is the short downtime, which, depending on the intensity of the treatment, is eliminated or lasts a maximum of 1-2 days.
Before the treatment
Each treatment is preceded by a detailed consultation, during which both the treatment zones and the desired treatment goal are determined together with you. An anesthetic cream is applied before the actual treatment.
Treatment
The skin is thoroughly cleansed and disinfected beforehand, then the treatment head of the device is placed on the skin. Based on the principle of bipolar and monopolar radiofrequency, extremely fine needles are inserted into the predetermined skin depth. A heat pulse is emitted at the tip of the needle for milliseconds. Depending on the treatment objective and skin type, the penetration depth and intensity are individually adapted to the patient. Depending on the intensity, the treatment is more or less noticeable, and in some cases slight pain is possible. However, the pain subsides immediately.
Depending on the region, the treatment takes approx. 30-60 minutes (+60 minutes application time for the anesthetic cream). Immediately after the treatment, substances such as hyaluronic acid or vitamin C are introduced into the skin, which are necessary for the desired effect.
Aftercare
No special aftercare is necessary. Depending on the intensity, the skin is more or less reddened and make-up can be applied again after a few hours. It is important to avoid direct sunlight immediately after the treatment.

Most treatments consist of 3–5 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart. Many patients report visible results after just one session. Maximum results are typically seen after the third or fourth treatment. The cost per session ranges between CHF 300.00 and CHF 500.00.
RF microneedling delivers targeted energy deep into the skin. The radiofrequency heat stimulates collagen and elastin production more effectively, making it the preferred method for firmer, tighter skin compared to classic microneedling.
Downtime is minimal for both traditional and RF microneedling. Depending on the treatment intensity, recovery takes 1–2 days or may even be immediate. Most patients return to daily activities within hours, and makeup can be applied after 24 hours.
For long-lasting results, we recommend a series of approx. 6 sessions for classic microneedling, or 3–5 sessions for RF microneedling.
