Unlike all previously known laser systems, which "disfigured" the face for days and weeks by removing the top layers of skin, fractionated CO2 laser technology has an incomparably gentle and virtually pain-free effect.
The minimally invasive micro-dot technology causes, among other things, the formation of youthful, elastic new collagen. During the treatment, hundreds of tiny tissue columns – thinner than 0.1mm – are lasered into the skin. Between the deliberately damaged areas of skin, which are practically invisible to the naked eye, and the untreated areas of skin, rapid healing takes place, producing fresh new skin, which refines and rejuvenates the overall appearance of the skin. As the procedure utilizes the skin's ability to heal itself, the result is harmonious and natural.
For most patients, the desired result can be achieved in 4 treatments at intervals of 2 to 3 weeks. The full result develops slowly and, as is usual in laser technology, can usually only be seen in full after several months.
