A slightly more invasive method is the fat-away injection, which can also be used to reach deeper fat deposits. A soy-based substance is injected to melt away the fat. The treatment takes a few minutes and is unpleasant but not really painful. Afterwards, as part of the fat reduction process, there is an accompanying swelling that can last for 1-2 weeks. The disadvantage of this method is that it does not always show results and the facial fat does not always break down. In such cases, the treatment can be repeated, but unfortunately there is no guarantee of a specific result.
Immediately after the treatment, you can return to work, exercise or other social commitments. Sometimes there is a small hematoma from the injection after the treatment, but this will disappear within a few days.
