We would like to inform you in detail about all procedures and treatments so that you feel you are in good hands at all times. We are happy to take the time to answer all your questions. Write them down before you visit us for a free consultation .

Here you will find a selection of frequently asked questions and answers on selected topics, Dr. Linde answers further FAQs in his video blog.

Can I pay for treatment at the BEAUTYCLINIC in installments?

We are not allowed to "play bank" ourselves. However, we have a cooperation with a solid partner in this regard, the MF Health Group. It specializes in the financing of aesthetic procedures through small loans. You can agree with MF Health how many installments you would like to pay off the amount owed.

This is a matter exclusively between you and the MF Health Group.

Are consultation appointments for aesthetic procedures binding?

No, our consultations are always absolutely non-binding. The patient can then decide for themselves whether or not they would like to go ahead with the treatment.

The consultation is free of charge as long as it deals exclusively with aesthetic issues. Only in the case of vein problems, clarification of lipoedema or second opinions after botched operations is the consultation subject to a fee and is sometimes charged at the basic insurance rate, but sometimes also as a flat rate.

I have to work late and therefore can't make the appointment today. Can I cancel/postpone it?

We understand that something may come up – free consultations can therefore be canceled/postponed at short notice free of charge.

This is different for booked treatments and operations: Surgeries must be canceled or postponed at least 6 days in advance, for regular treatments (e.g., cryolipolysis or Botox/Filler) a 24h deadline applies. If you cancel at shorter notice, we will unfortunately have to charge you 50% of the costs for the inconvenience involved, we ask for your understanding in this regard.

Which tram goes to the practice in Zurich?

Our practice is located directly at Stauffacher – a major hub for trams in Zurich. Trams 3 and 14 come directly to us from the main station, the tram ride takes just under 7 minutes.

I am having an aesthetic procedure performed by you. Can I go back to work the next day?

No matter which minimally invasive procedure we perform on you, you can always work from home the next day. Depending on the treatment, however, you will be wearing thick bandages on your body, which is why we advise you not to physically go to work the day after the procedure. The day after, 85% of all our patients return to work as normal.

Our facial treatments are also so minimally invasive that you can usually return to work and socialize immediately. In individual cases, there may be slight swelling or visible bruising, which can be easily covered with make-up.

I am planning an aesthetic procedure. How long should I expect to be blue or swollen?

Normally, you will be able to socialize again immediately – or at the latest a few days – after the treatment. As a rule, there are visible reactions of the skin, if it is treated directly, e.g., with Morpheus8, injections, etc.

In these cases, you can expect slight swelling and bruising for 1-2 days.

How long does an aesthetic treatment take?

Your aesthetic treatment will be planned during the consultation. During this consultation, you will also be told exactly how long it will take. As a rule, most of our aesthetic procedures take 1-1.5 hours. This includes the explanation of the procedure, the explanation of side effects with informed consent, the treatment itself and the short time spent in the waiting area afterwards.

Can and may I drive myself after a treatment in twilight sleep?

Yes, our twilight sleep is a so-called "nano-sleep": The dose of medication that we usually use is minimal and is immediately broken down by the body. For this reason, you will be fit to drive again relatively quickly with our technique. In the case of more extensive procedures such as liposuction, you will need medication that will remain in your body for longer and make you unfit to drive. In this case, you will not be able to drive again until the next day.

Can I eat and drink before a surgical procedure?

Although we carry out many operations in twilight sleep, the level of sedation is minimal so that all your reflexes, such as the swallowing reflex, are fully functional.

It is therefore not necessary to appear sober. On the contrary: Before a major liposuction, we even recommend eating a meal with carbohydrates to ensure that your blood sugar is high enough to cope with the stress of the procedure.

Can my husband be present during the operation?

For reasons of hygiene, it is unfortunately not possible for family members to be present during an operation. You may, of course, be accompanied until the start of treatment and then picked up again. As our surgical procedures are always performed in twilight sleep, the presence of a close relative would make no difference, as you will be fast asleep during the procedure.

Can I bring my small child to the treatment?

We are very generous, when it comes to bringing children with us and support young mothers who sometimes have problems having to place their children elsewhere. However, we recommend that you bring either toys, a book or a video on your cell phone for the child so that the child is occupied while you are being treated.

Please note that some children may be overwhelmed by watching the treatment (e.g., injections). We leave this to you, as a mother or father, to decide on your own responsibility.

I have a small dog, can I bring it to the treatment?

For reasons of hygiene, dogs are not allowed to be present during treatments. In rare cases, we accept small dogs that are carried in a bag. Larger dogs are unfortunately not allowed in the practice for reasons of hygiene.

I am 17 years old and would like to have my lips injected. Is that possible?

Invasive treatments, even if they are minimally invasive, may only be carried out from the age of 18. If an aesthetic procedure is desired before the age of majority, a parent must be present or have given their consent in writing.

What does an aesthetic treatment cost?

The cost of an aesthetic treatment – whether on the face or body – is extremely dependent on how pronounced the findings are, and how complex the treatment is. Determining the costs is the central point of every non-binding consultation. After evaluating what the patient wants and planning the procedure, the patient is given a precise cost breakdown during the consultation.

Do I have to pay on the spot or will I receive an invoice?

In the case of treatments that are covered by health insurance (especially vein treatments, clarification of lipoedema, etc.), the treatment is carried out on an invoice basis, which is sent directly to your health insurance company.

In the case of all aesthetic procedures – be it aesthetic improvement of the face, liposuction, cellulite treatments, laser treatments, etc. – the treatment must be paid for in the practice immediately after it has been carried out. Payment can be made in cash or by credit card. We cannot issue an invoice, as we would otherwise have to charge higher prices to compensate for the additional work involved.
