In this procedure, the subcutaneous tissue is specifically heated using radiofrequency as part of a minor surgical procedure. The heating of these tissue structures leads to the formation of new collagen tissue and to a "contraction" of the structures of the subcutaneous connective tissue, resulting in a tightening effect that has never been achieved before. A single treatment is enough. In principle, CelluTite™ is similar to the Accent® Ultra radiofrequency procedure, but with CelluTite™ the heat acts directly where it is needed. The effect is much stronger compared to non-invasive procedures, which explains why only one treatment is sufficient for lasting results.
The CelluTite™ procedure for cellulite is performed like a "minor" liposuction, so it is a minor surgical procedure. It is performed on an outpatient basis and you can return to work the next day. No special follow-up treatment is necessary. To begin with, the tissue to be treated is filled with a local anesthetic, tumescent anesthesia. This protects the skin from the heat during the procedure and makes the treatment area pain-free. A thin cannula is inserted into the fat layer under the skin, which generates targeted and controlled heating of the tissue through the energy of the radio waves. This leads to the desired tightening of the skin and cellulite disappears forever. Another advantage is that excess fat is also reduced at the same time. After the operation, a bandage is applied which can be removed the very next day.
The procedure is painless and there is no pain at a later date. Patients usually experience soreness-like symptoms in the treated areas of the body.
The use of CelluTite™ has the great advantage that only one treatment is sufficient. It is currently the only procedure that can successfully treat cellulite in the long term. There are hardly any disadvantages, apart from the fact that it is a surgical procedure, albeit a minor one.
